About

Hello and welcome

I am a yoga teacher from West London who is deeply moved and connected to the practice of yoga, free movement, breathwork and meditation. I truly believe in the holistic benefits of the practice and how small changes to the mind and body, as well as attitude to everyday life, can truly make an impact on general physical, mental health and wellbeing.

 

Based in London, I teach one-to-one private sessions, group classes in gyms & studios and community yoga for children and young people. I am committed to bringing yoga to everyone of all ages from 2- 82. I try to approach teaching the practice with an open mind and heart, understanding that we have come from all walks of life and learn in different ways.

My teaching style is a fluid, free moving practice designed to slowly awaken and begin to change the mind and body for the long term, committing movement to breath to deeply flow and restore. I welcome everyone to practice yoga with me and with my kind, open and honest approach to teaching I hope to leave you feeling nourished.

Private classes are a great way to personalise sessions to your needs and what you want to learn and improve on.  I am able to tailor sessions from your suggestions and guidance. These sessions will be done in your home and I am also able provide props when needed. I am currently working and happy to travel in and around West London.

 

I also offer teaching via an online platform, providing 1 on 1 sessions through Zoom.

Group classes

I am currently teaching classes all over West London,  teaching various styles including Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga and Power. At present  I teach regularly at Soho house White City & High Rd House as well as Gymbox Ealing, Victoria & Westfield Shepherd's Bush.

Kids & community

I qualified as a yoga teacher for children before training to teach adults. I have a background in Child Development and worked in Nurseries, as a nanny and then in International Development in schools overseas. I feel children and young people benefit from learning these skills from an early age: breath work, movement and mindfulness can all help Early Years, KS1 and KS2 development goals. I am qualified to teach ages 2-18.

I also enjoy working in the community, whether with the elderly, children or young people in all settings.

Retreats and events

I will be running a retreat next year in Norfolk from the 12th-14th April 2024 with my dear friend and fellow yoga teacher Veronika Pongracz. 
 

Join us in the heart of Norfolk for a retreat to revive from the long winter months and thrive towards the spring and summer ahead. Spring is about being a visionary, growing, and expanding your possibilities, creating a future that inspires and is authentic to you.

 

Together, we will create a space to reconnect with your true desires, moving our bodies to rebalance, re-energise, and regain your sense of purpose and inspiration.

We will embark on nature walks, wild swimming, daily yoga, meditation and pranayama as well as delicious plant based meals cooked with fresh produce from the estate's garden.

Alma Nova

Essential oils

I created Alma Nova as I wanted to share the benefits of using Essential Oils with friends and family. I started using oils as medicine when I returned from running a development programme in Ghana in 2017 as I had been very unwell during my time there. I found the healing benefits of different oil combinations hard to ignore and my health and general wellbeing improved dramatically in such areas as sleep, skin, and mental health to name just  a few. 

 

I also love to use oils alongside my practice and teaching as I find they go hand in hand. All the oils I use in my classes and in Alma Nova products are completely natural, edible and vegan.

(Please note I do use nut oils as carrier oil for my product so if you are allergic please let me know and I will use an alternative).
